The cooking begins

Because of schedules we are holding our family Thanksgiving dinner today. I just got up and started the next stage in bread baking process. We did a lot yesterday in preparation. In a little bit I need to go out and turn the turkey over. It is currently sitting in a bucket of brine (see Alton Brown’s turkey recipe). Last night we made the Apricot Orange Stuffing, and Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes. There is still a whole lot more to cook, so stay tuned.
