Review: In the King’s Service

I finally finished Katherine Kurtz’s latest novel In the King’s Service (ITKS). Overall the book was pretty good, but definately not as powerfull as some of her past works (like The Harrowing of Gwynedd). It had more of the feel and style of King Kelson’s Bride. ITKS did bring back one Katherine Kurtz’s trademark styles, killing off characters left and right. Just as things start to look promising to someone, they die! All in all it was a nice read, I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars (but then I am a KK fan).
